About the event
Description
Disputes are an unavoidable reality of construction, but with the right knowledge, they can be anticipated, managed, and resolved effectively. Too often, Quantity Surveyors only encounter disputes when they’ve already escalated, leaving them reactive instead of proactive.
This workshop bridges the gap between contract administration and dispute resolution practice. Led by Emmolina May, a Registered QS and Accredited Adjudicator with extensive experience in both project delivery and dispute determination, the workshop is designed to equip participants with the tools to spot early warning signs, manage risks, and apply resolution strategies confidently.
You’ll gain practical insight into:
How contracts (especially NZS3910:2023) allocate risk and where disputes typically arise.
Early intervention techniques to prevent escalation.
